Prof. Dr. Lena Ansmann takes up the W3 professorship in medical sociology at the University of Cologne on 01.02.2023

Until the new professorship is filled, Dr. Milena von Kutzleben will lead the division on a provisional basis.
Election of Prof. Dr. Ansmann to the DNVF Board of Directors
At the 32nd General Assembly of the German Network for Health Services Research, the long-standing board members and chairpersons Prof. Dr. Holger Pfaff, Prof. Dr. Edmund Neugebauer and Prof. Dr. Monika Klinkhammer-Schalke were bidden farewell. Newly elected to the Board were Prof. Dr. Lena Ansmann (University of Oldenburg), Dr. Nadine Pohontsch (UKE Hamburg) and Prof. Dr. Christian Vollmar (University of Bochum). Prof. Dr Karsten Dreinhöfer (Charitè Berlin), Prof. Dr Max Geraedts (University of Marburg) and Prof. Dr Juliane Köberlein-Neu (University of Wuppertal) were re-elected to the Board.

Competence Network Public Health on COVID-19
The German Society for Medical Sociology (DGMS) has currently joined forces with more than 15 scientific societies and associations in the field of public health to form the Competence Network Public Health on COVID-19, in order to pool epidemiological-statistical, social science, (population) medical and methodological expertise.
