The Department of General Practice is responsible for teaching general practice as part of the degree programmes in Medicine and Health Services Research at the University of Oldenburg. In addition to the teaching modules on the Medical Campus, this also includes clinical shadowing, the block lab course and the final year clinical rotation within the network of teaching GP practices.

For us, the focus is on people – whether in the training of our students or in our research activities. We place great emphasis on practice-oriented teaching that harmoniously combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Our students benefit from an interdisciplinary approach and close collaboration with our network of teaching and research practices.
