Education and career
- October 2015–March 2016 – Lecturer at the International Psychoanalytic University (IPU) Berlin
- Since October 2011 – Research assistant at the Institute of Philosophy, University of Oldenburg, as part of the BMBF-funded project ‘Focus on Research-Based Learning (FLiF)/Research-Oriented Teaching (FoL)’.
- July 2010–February 2011 – Visiting Scholar at the Philosophy Department of the New School for Social Research in New York, USA, at the invitation of Jay M. Bernstein.
- November 2007 – January 2013 – PhD at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University with a thesis on Adorno’s philosophy of language (supervisors: Martin Seel, Christoph Demmerling).

- October 2015 – My doctoral thesis was awarded the ‘Geisteswissenschaften International’ prize (endowed by the German Publishers and Booksellers Association, VG Wort,
, the Fritz Thyssen Foundation and the Federal Foreign Office), which supports its translation into English. - May 2015 – Certificate from the higher education teaching qualification programme ‘Research-Based Teaching and Learning’ at the University of Oldenburg, in co-operation with the Centre of Excellence for Higher Education Teaching in Lower Saxony (KHN).
- 12/2014 – Printing grant from the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Oldenburg for the printing of the anthology ‘Why Criticism?’.
