Biology and two-subject Bachelor of Chemistry
Biology and two-subject Bachelor of Chemistry
This practical course is part of the module Physics for Biology and the two-subject Bachelor of Chemistry (Phy910) and lasts one semester. It is aimed at students from the 3rd semester onwards. The entire module is worth 6 CP.
The basics of experimentation are taught in this practical course. Students can use their own experiments to deepen and test their theoretical knowledge from lectures and textbooks. Their manual skills in handling measuring equipment and working with measuring instructions are trained. By carrying out the experiments together in small subgroups of two students each, the ability to work in a team is also promoted. Finally, the recording of scientific experiments and the appropriate presentation of measurement results are trained.
The successful completion and recording of all experiments is a prerequisite for the written exam at the end of the lecture period, which includes both the practical course material and the lecture taking place in parallel.
