Internship offers

Information for employers

Would you like to inform our students in the fields of Business Administration with a focus on law, economics and sustainability economics about your offers for internships, theses, etc.? The university's career counselling service has set up a platform for you to promote yourself and your offers: Career portal for companies

Our Department of Economics and Law also offers you further opportunities to network with the university and draw attention to yourself as an employer through our support association: WiRe Support Association

You can also present yourself as an employer as part of the accompanying seminar on internships and give students valuable tips on applications and selection procedures. We currently offer online discussion formats for this purpose, which we then make available to students as recordings in the seminars. This allows you to reach not only the participants of one seminar, but all seminars in this and future semesters. Please contact the coordinator of the training module to discuss this exclusive opportunity.

Information for students

You can find current offers for internships, entry-level positions, temporary jobs, etc. centrally on the website of the University of Oldenburg's career counselling service: Career portal for students

You can find further internship offers on the usual job platforms and career networks. There are also internship search engines and internship portals – there is now a very large selection available. If you already know which industry you want to work in later, search the internet to see if there are any specialised search engines or portals

Take a look at the homepages of companies that interest you (e.g. these companies from the region).

You can also take advantage of the annual Career Day at the University of Oldenburg to get in direct contact with companies in the region and benefit from interesting information and presentations on the topic of job applications and careers.

Personal networks are often worth their weight in gold – make use of your personal contacts (friends, family, etc.). In our latest student survey, 50 per cent said they found their internship through their personal network.
