Conversation course A1.1

Scope and content: 2 SWS, German course to promote oral expression, at level A1.1 (CEFR).
Description: The A1.1 conversation course offers international students an introduction to the German language. Students have the opportunity to apply the structures they have learned and practise everyday situations. The course focuses on speaking and the grammatical structures required for this.

Pronunciation training (B2-C1)
2 SWS/hrs - 3 ECTS
Time: Fridays 12-2pm

Scope and content: 2 SWS, German course to promote your pronunciation, at level B2-C1 (CEFR).
Description: The aim of this course is to improve German pronunciation. Using selected exercises, we practise typical word and sentence stress as well as intonation. In addition, based on the individual difficulties of the course participants, we practise the articulation of individual sounds, sound combinations and reductions. Various listening exercises are used to train the ear, which is an important prerequisite for correct pronunciation.
