Hendrik Wolter is a research assistant in the project EGON – Development of organically bred fruit varieties in commons-based initiatives. Since April 2019 he also works as an academic advisor for Master Sustainability Economics and Management. Hendrik studied Sustainability Economics and Management at the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg. In his master-thesis he developed an analytical framework for a precise description of the role of renewable energies as a stability factor for the development of rural areas.
Hendrik is especially interested in the perspectives of applied social sciences on sustainability problems, with a special focus in the fields of food systems, renewable energies and regional development.
