Doctoral phase

At Faculty VI Medicine and Health Sciences there are opportunities for medical, health science and natural or engineering doctorates, each of which is regulated in its own doctoral regulations. There is also the possibility of a binational doctorate (joint degree) within a specified framework.

The doctoral office of Faculty VI is available for all questions about registration, the procedure, etc.

Graduate School of Science, Medicine and Technology - OLTECH

The graduate school offers various structured doctoral programs and doctoral study courses that are also open to doctoral students in Faculty VI. You can find more information on the content, registration modalities, etc. on the OLTECH homepage.

Graduate Academy of the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg

An interdisciplinary qualification for career development is offered by the university's Graduate Academy.

Joint Research Academy of the Hearing4all Cluster of Excellence

The Joint Research Academy of the Hearing4all Cluster of Excellence also offers courses.

  • The department for research and transfer at the university has gathered information for doctoral candidates on doctoral studies, on (legal) topics such as regulations and insurance, on the topics of "international affairs" and "family and equality", on interest groups and much more.
  • The doctoral representatives of the University of Oldenburg represent the interests of the doctoral candidates and can be contacted about all questions and concerns about and around the doctoral phase.
