Divyang Rana
Divyang Rana received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from SRM Institute of Science & Technology, India, in 2018 and a Master of Science in Robotic Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2024.
During his Master's, he conducted research on generating synthetic images from 3D CAD models for deep learning-based object detection in assembly processes. Additionally, he worked on a project exploring various computer vision methods for object detection and the automation of verifying industrial fluid plans at Bosch Rexroth, Lohr, Germany as an intern in 2024. His research interests include machine learning and computer vision, with a focus on their application in robotics, automation, and intelligent systems for microscopic processes.
Since December 2024, he is working as a Research Associate at the Division Microrobotics and Control Engineering at the University of Oldenburg. At AMIR, he is developing automation frameworks for robotic systems in various microscopy applications, aiming to enhance precision and efficiency in automated processes.
