Welcome to the Safety-Security-Interaction Group!

The Safety-Security-Interaction group is concerned with the development of theoretically sound technologies for maintaining the security of IT systems in the context of safety-critical systems and the Internet of Things. The focus is on the development of security solutions that are tailored to the context-specific conditions and that take into account various types of user-interaction as well as the functional safety of the to-be-protected systems.

Invited talk in the lecture series of the GI NetSec working group

Prof. Peter gives an invited talk as part of the „NetSec Lecture Series” of the working group on network security (NetSec) of the German Informatics Society (GI) on his research in the domain of automation in security.

Prof. Peter gives an invited talk as part of the „NetSec Lecture Series” of the working group on network security (NetSec) of the German Informatics Society (GI) on his research in the domain of automation in security. Concretely, he presents „DeepCASE: Semi-Supervised Contextual Analysis of Security Events”, which is joint work with Thijs van Ede, Hojjat Aghakhani, Noah Spahn, Riccardo Bortolameotti, Marco Cova, Andrea Continella, Maarten van Steen, Christopher Kruegel, and Giovanni Vigna.
