Adaptive strategies are the basis for a sustainable land management. Together with experts and decision-maker of the region Krummhörn that represent important sectors in the society (agriculture, water management, tourism, nature conservation, coastal protection and policy) we will develop the stakeholder-based scenario. The most effective elements of the three land management scenarios and stakeholder´s perceptions, interests and needs, including ESF and ESS, will be merged into an integrative assessment. The main focus is on concrete and action oriented suggestions that lead to a spatially explicit and participative assessment of sustainable land use strategies by semi-structured interviews, dialogues and regional forums.
