I need proof that I have duly completed my studies (according to §48) and my first subject is German Studies
- Certificates according to §15 are issued by the Examinations Office
- Please send the complete documents (grade transcript from Stud.IP), stating your semester of study, by email to
andrea.walljahn@uol.de. - Alternatively, you can also submit the complete documents (please indicate which semester you are currently in) to Ms Walljahn* (room A10 3-303) at the office of the Institute for German Studies. Please note Mrs Walljahn's office hours (see here) to ensure that you hand in your application in person. .
*Representation only in case of holiday or illness:
Mrs Glombek, V03-S345 or Mrs Kruse, A10-3-302.
And so it goes on after the documents have been submitted:
- The documents are signed by Mrs Goschler and can normally be collected again from Mrs Walljahn within two working days. (During the lecture-free period it can take considerably longer).
- Complete documents means that you must submit the following:
- Form 5, which you should fill in lines 3 to 9 (see sample template). Lines 10-24 will be completed by the university.
- A certificate notarised by the Examinations Office confirming your previous examination results.
- An enrolment certificate showing the semester in which you are enrolled in German Studies and the semester in which you are currently studying. (For example, in the case of a change of subject, the semester numbers differ).
- Please provide your email address and a contact option via mobile phone for any queries.
How many CPs do I have to prove?
At the end of the
- 3rd semester 67 credit points,
- 4th semester 90 credit points,
- 5th semester 120 credit points.
I need another proof
In all other cases, it is necessary to consult the Bafög representative for German Studies, Prof Dr Juliana Goschler, during her office hours (see office hours of the teaching staff). Please contact Mrs Walljahn beforehand. As a rule, it is then no longer necessary to consult Mrs Goschler.
