Extracurricular Prospects for Students of the Humanities, Languages and Cultural Studies
This series of lectures, which takes place every 14 days during the summer semester, is aimed at students of the humanities, linguistics and cultural studies who are not studying with the aim of becoming teachers and who would like to find out about potential career paths and fields of work. A variety of professionals from the field provide insights into their individual career paths and are available afterwards to discuss potential steps, as well as the challenges, on the path to entering their respective fields. The series covers both relevant professional fields such as librarianship and archiving, research management and journalism, as well as more unusual career paths. The lecture is organised and moderated by two lecturers from School III. It counts towards the area of specialisation in various modules (registration via Stud.IP). Link to the event.
