On 12 November, Prof. Dr Dagmar Freist, project leader of the Prize Papers project and Dr Amanda Bevan, head of the Prize Papers team at the National Archives, and Dr Elvira Bronheim, one of the project's volunteers, had the honour of speaking at the official launch of the collaboration with the CEU Elcano International Chair in London at the residence of José Pascual Marco, Ambassador of Spain to the United Kingdom. The aim of this collaboration is to link documents from the Prize Papers with those of the Spanish Naval Archives in order to improve context and expand research opportunities in the future. The project is funded by the Lower Saxony Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Göttingen.
