The competition was organised by priME Academy AG. In addition to four German universities, Mingachevir State University (Azerbaijan) and the University of Ovidius Constanța (Romania) were also represented. The task of all finalists was to manage a company that produces and markets customised sunglasses using the 3D printing process under business game conditions. The eleven teams simulated company management teams that are in competition with each other. The team of three from the University of Oldenburg made key entrepreneurial decisions regarding pricing policy, personnel planning, investment and financing of promising future fields and made a convincing case in a final pitch and with a press release. These three components were included in the final assessment. "The team from the University of Oldenburg was characterised by its interdisciplinary composition and was therefore able to master all evaluation categories with flying colours," summarised organiser Heiko Hammer from the priME Academy. The Oldenburg team won a voucher for management coaching.
