Our start-up team, NanoXion, has been nominated for the 2026 Lower Saxony Innovation Award!

From just under 90 entries, the jury has made a selection of six outstanding projects – and we are particularly delighted that our start-up team, NanoXion, is among them.

Simon Sprengel and Karuna Kanes, with their start-up project NanoXion, are among the three nominees in the ‘Knowledge and Technology Transfer’ category of the 2026 Lower Saxony Innovation Award: ‘3D-printed nano-metal composites for semiconductors, medicine and quantum research’.

NanoXion embodies exactly what we believe innovation is all about: transforming scientific developments into concrete technological applications and thereby creating new opportunities for future technologies.

This nomination is also a special milestone for us on the journey we have already undertaken together with NanoXion.

Now it’s time to keep our fingers crossed!

The winners of the Lower Saxony Innovation Award 2026 in both categories, each of whom will receive prize money of 20,000 euros, will be announced on 3 November 2026 in Hanover.
