InfoLine Study
The InfoLine Studies is available by telephone and email as a first point of contact for all matters concerning the central student service (Division 3), e.g:
Study and Career Counselling Service (ZSKB)
Please contact the Study and Career Counselling Service regarding the following matters:
- Study guidance and choosing a degree programme
- Information and advice on all matters relating to your studies
- Transition from study to work
- Questions regarding decision-making (including if you are unsure about your course or wish to change course)
- Information and orientation events on study-related topics
- Workshops on academic research
Admissions office
As well as providing information on semester fees, leave of absence, part-time study, etc., the Admissions office can answer your questions regarding:
- Application and admission procedures
- Entry requirements with and without the Abitur
- Allocation of study places
- Enrolment
International Office (IO)
The International Office advises and supports international students and German students who would like to study abroad on the following issues:
- Questions about stays abroad and their financing
- Questions from exchange students about their stay abroad in Oldenburg
- Questions from international students who are completing their entire degree programme in Oldenburg

Student bodies
The student bodies (students from the individual degree programmes) are the student representatives of the respective subjects. They answer questions about the content and organisation of studies and pass on personal experiences. They also represent the interests of the subject in the university committees.
