Please register for the 7th ICBM PhD Day by filling out the registration form.

During the event, you will have the opportunity to meet your colleagues from the ICBM and collaborating partner institutions, share your work through a talk or poster, and much more. This is the perfect chance to network, connect with like-minded individuals, and learn from each other.

Your registration is important for future planning (e.g., program structure and catering). Please let us know if you will participate actively, by giving a talk, or presenting your results on a poster. 

Data processing is carried out in accordance with the data protection guidelines of the University of Oldenburg (https://uol.de/datenschutzerklaerung) in conjunction with § 17 NHG (www.nds-voris.de).

According to the OLTECH PhD examination regulations, participation in the ICBM PhD Day is mandatory for all doctoral candidates at the ICBM.

2 Contribution to the ICBM PhD-Day
Due to the large number of lectures, from now on only one presentation can be chosen as a contribution.

You can choose one of three possible presentation formats:
• poster presentation
• short scientific talk (4 min talk + 2 min questions from the audience)
• or long scientific talk (8 min talk + 2 min questions).

Preference of presentation format (1 is the preferred option)*
As there will be a variety of dishes and grilled food at the ICBM summer party in the evening, we will only provide a light meal (sandwiches) for lunch. We aim to select vegan (vegetarian) dishes from the region based on sustainable criteria.
Consent of Photo and Video Recordings
At ICBM PhD day on 29-08-2024 photos and videos will be taken. A selection of the footage will afterwards be displayed on the website of ICBM (https://uol.de/icbm/) or in our ICBM Alumni Newsletter. By entering the event location on campus of University of Oldenburg exhibitors and visitors agree that photos and/or video recordings can be taken of them – including group and individual portraits – and can be used and published as mentioned above.
