The application and selection process is as follows:

1. Applications can only be submitted online via Stud.IP during the application period. You can find the form under Campus > Grants/Scholarships.
2. Once the application deadline has passed, the applications received will be assessed by the Scholarships service centre.
3. In accordance with the applicable guidelines, the applications submitted are ranked on the basis of academic performance and personal factors.
4. The Presidential Board of Carl von Ossietzky University conducts the selection for scholarship holders for the winter semester.
5. Applicants will be notified whether their application has been successful or unsuccessful.
