The application and selection process is as follows:

1. An application is only possible online via Stud.IP during the application period. You can find the form under Campus > Grants/Scholarships.
2. After the application deadline, the applications received will be reviewed by the Scholarships service centre.
3. In accordance with the current guidelines, the submitted applications are ranked on the basis of student performance and personal factors.
4. The Presidential Board of Carl von Ossietzky University selects the scholarship holders for the winter semester.
5. Applicants receive an acceptance or rejection letter.
