There is a seminar room in the "Sports Research and Training Centre" building where nobody has to sit still. This "moving classroom" can be booked by all departments for courses.

The master’s programme Sustainable Renewable Energy Technologies collaborates closely with partner universities in Ghana and Colombia. Working together in a living lab, students are planning ways to supply remote communities with renewable energy.

Identifying strengths and weaknesses, deriving measures and thus improving the quality of studies and teaching – that is what ‘internal evaluation’ is all about. 
 

1,800 first-year students are beginning their studies at our university this winter semester. Orientation Week began on Monday with an opening ceremony in the lecture hall centre.

The Lecture Centre is currently all about research during studies: students can present their research results to an interdisciplinary and sometimes even international audience at two conferences.

Combining economic and ecological thinking right from the start of a company: A project team led by Oldenburg has dedicated itself to this goal and has made it onto the shortlist for the EU Business Promotion Awards.

From child protection in primary education to virtual reality in anatomy: seven projects at the University of Oldenburg are receiving funding through the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture's Innovation plus programme.

Five groups of students conducted research focused on the topic of "the future". Among the questions they investigated were how the climate movement envisions the future and how election forecasts influence voting behaviour.
