We are thrilled to announce that Aaron R. von Seggern from our group has been awarded the Heinz Neumüller PhD Scholarship by the Heinz Neumüller Foundation (CEWE Deutschland). This scholarship is granted to early-career doctoral researchers at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg who have distinguished themselves through ability, initiative, and responsibility.

The award was presented by Jan Müller, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, alongside Thomas Mehls, member of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, and Bernd Seifert, Director of the Foundation's Board. We extend special thanks to Reiner Fageth, Deputy Director of the Foundation's Board, for the informative tour of the CEWE Deutschland facilities, truly an exciting experience.

This scholarship not only provides financial support, but represents an investment in future leaders, entrepreneurs, and scientists, in line with the Foundation's vision of fostering the talent and responsibility of early-stage researchers in the region.

About the Heinz Neumüller Foundation:

The Heinz Neumüller Foundation was established on April 4, 1995, by Senator h. c. Heinz Neumüller, founder of the CEWE Group. With endowment capital of €550,000, it supports doctoral projects by young scientists at Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg in the fields of computer science, economics, law, and natural sciences. Applications for funding in 2026 can be submitted until October 31, 2025.
