Internationalisation & Networking

Internationalisation

Science and research today are more international than ever before. The Graduate School OLTECH therefore promotes early international and intercultural research collaboration and the development of personal and institutional networks for our doctoral candidates. The Graduate School OLTECH therefore provides individual funding like the OLTECH travel grant as well as institutional mobility opportunities.

Networking

The Graduate School OLTECH is very well networked within the university and, above all, outside the University of Oldenburg and has cooperating partners in the region.

Another great source for networking is our OLTECH Alumni network.

For OLTECH and its members the UniWiND: Universitätsverband zur Qualifizierung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses in Deutschland is relevant. This is a network of currently 85 member institutions that support early-career researchers as a task of their universities. UniWiND is committed to optimising the qualification conditions for doctoral candidates and young academics in the postdoc phase in order to give them the best possible opportunities for future careers within and outside universities
