The project "Measures of Needs Equity, Expertise and Coherence" as part of the Research Group 2104"Needs Equity and Distribution Procedures" was completed in June 2022. It had two terms of three years each and a cost-neutral extension of just under one year. During this time, articles in internationally renowned journals, edited volumes and contributions to edited volumes were produced, mainly by Max Bauer, Frauke Meyer and Arne Weiß.

Mark Siebel has been Dean of Studies at School IV since April 2023. Previously, he was Dean of Studies for four years and Vice Dean for six years.
