Abstract:
School and teaching development have recently taken place in the context of digitalisation and heterogeneous classes. Educational research and practice are faced with the complex challenge of implementing digital media in classroom and enabling pupils, particularly those with special educational needs to participate digitally. This paper uses two concepts to discuss opportunities and limitations of using digital audio pens (tiptoi®, Anybook Pro) for tier 2 and 3 support of learners with specific learning disabilities and language impairments. Conclusions for the practical implementation in lesson design are discussed regarding to targeted and individualised interventions, prevention and competences of teachers and learners.
