The professional qualification in psychomotor skills is offered by the German Academy - Aktionskreis Psychomotorik e.V. (dakp) and is aimed at participants who have completed vocational training or are students on subject (higher) education programmes in the educational or therapeutic field. It complements and expands the dual-subject Bachelor's degree programme in Special Needs Education at the University of Oldenburg with a practice-oriented qualification for the educational context. Upon completion of this qualification, students will gain extensive knowledge about the use of psychomotor and motopedagogical applications and will be able to independently develop and implement psychomotor support programmes in an educational context.
The professional qualification in psychomotor skills comprises a total of 180 teaching units, of which 100 teaching units are recognised by the dakp upon successful completion of the module sop441 - Special needs educational skills in the field of motor skills. The remaining 80 teaching units are taught by dakp lecturers on the premises of Lebenshilfe Landkreis Diepholz in four further weekend events. After completing all the courses, students receive a certificate from the dakp confirming that they have completed the professional qualification in psychomotor skills.
