Practical teaching

As part of the Bachelor's degree programme in Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation, students have the opportunity to study the theoretical and practical foundations of movement and perception-oriented support in depth. The two-semester compulsory elective module in special needs educational skills in the field of motor skills includes the conceptual approaches of psychomotor skills, perception and observation training, motor diagnostics and the planning, implementation, reflection and documentation of psychomotor interventions. The teaching is based on numerous elements of self-awareness, self-activity and reflection on the learning content and utilises a variety of multimodal approaches to the subject area.

Furthermore, the movement room of the inclusive Competence Center offers the possibility of professional video and sound recordings as well as non-participatory observations, which are used in connection with the developmental topics of motor skills, movement and perception, among others, in numerous other courses of the dual-subject Bachelor of Special Needs Education and Master of Education Special Needs Education degree programmes:
