Co-operation
The constructive linking of the areas of applied research, practice-oriented teaching and regional networking includes the establishment, maintenance and organisation of cooperative relationships, the planning, implementation and evaluation of support measures and the promotion of young talent. Cooperative relationships with day care centers, inclusive schools and support centers in Oldenburg make it possible to transfer scientific findings into practice and to gain an insight into practical implementation as part of the courses. Student assistants provide support and are supervised as part of their own qualification.
In addition to working with cooperation partners from regional fields of action, a longer-term cooperation relationship with the German Academy - Aktionskreis Psychomotorik e.V. (dakp) was launched in 2022 as part of an additional qualification offer, which has since offered students the opportunity to complete a certified professional qualification with the title "Psychomotorist (dakp)" year after year and has been met with great interest. Due to the positive evaluation of the first professional qualification and the great interest shown by participants, the dakp has decided to increasingly offer various training programmes in northern Germany. These include, for example, the specialist qualification in trampolining in psychomotor skills.
Furthermore, in co-operation with the Oldenburg Social Paediatric Center, a project is underway for the practical application of the skills acquired during studies and professional qualifications to support children with physical-motor and social-emotional problems. Students who have successfully completed the module sop441 and the professional qualification in psychomotor skills are given the opportunity to accompany support groups in tandem groups with the specialists at the Oldenburg Social Paediatric Center, to plan the services cooperatively and to offer them independently. In addition to the supervision at the Social Paediatric Center, monthly supervision meetings take place at the University.
