Digital questionnaire survey in day-care centres in Lower Saxony
The Lower Saxony-wide online survey of early education staff and managers who work in daycare centres with children aged 3 to school age will soon be launched. The aim of the survey is, among other things, to conduct representative research into current educational practices, attitudes and training needs of early childhood educators with regard to diversity in daycare centres in Lower Saxony. You can find more information on the digital survey under "DivKids-PBS online survey".
DivKids PBS online training
The DivKids-PBS team is currently designing a digital training course on the educational framework "Program-Wide Positive Behaviour Support" (PW-PBS), which originated in the USA, and the "Pyramid Model" based on it for early childhood educators in daycare centres. You can find more information on the DivKids-PBS online training programme in the corresponding section on this page.
Project handout on learning objective taxonomies
As part of the creation of digital training units (see DivKids-PBS online training courses), the DivKids-PBS team developed the project handout "Taxonomies of learning objectives and their use for planning training units for the elementary sector as part of the DivKids-PBS project". The handout is intended to serve as a theoretically sound basis for the development and formulation of learning objectives and content (e.g. for the design of training programmes based on learning objective taxonomies). The handout also outlines the DivKids PBS project and illustrates the specific use of learning objectives in the DivKids PBS online training programme.
Pre-test of the DivKids PBS online questionnaires
After the two digital versions of the questionnaire for managers and early childhood educators in daycare centres were provisionally finalised, a pre-test took place in which the Catholic daycare centres in Kelsterbach once again supported the DivKids-PBS project. Early education staff and managers were given the opportunity to complete the questionnaire digitally and provide the DivKids-PBS team with re-registering students on implementation. Many thanks to the participants and their helpful feedback!
