On August 30th, hearing scientist Prof. Dr. Dr. Birger Kollmeier will be awarded the economy price "Oldenburger Bulle 2016". The price, which is periodically given to people from economy and science who have contributed greatly to Oldenburg as a scientific and economic location, will be presented to the 58-year old physicist and physician by mayor Krogmann. The laudatio will be given by this year’s "Kohlkönigin" (of Oldenburg) and minister of research and technology, Johanna Wanka.
