It was 10 April, and at exactly 05:08, I received an email from my team informing me that the BigBlueButton video conferencing programme had been successfully integrated into our Stud.IP system. It was a real goosebump moment: at the last minute, we had managed to clear the way for online teaching in the 2020 summer semester, which began on 14 April, the Tuesday after Easter. IT services later received the President's Badge of Honour for the rapid creation of the IT infrastructure for digital study operations due to the pandemic.

... the captain of the university's research vessel "Sonne". It was my childhood dream to sail the world's oceans as a captain.

... that it retains its youthful courage and remains open to change. Because even at 50, the university is still young.
