At the university since: 2005

I am #UOL because...

...I see myself as part of a whole. Admittedly, the whole thing wasn't always a love affair for me, because I was at the point of leaving twice and worked my way back to staying.

What I like about my work...

...that it forms a unique synergy for me, in which my entire academic appointment comes together in a meaningful way. A job full of dynamics as well as challenges, where I can work and shape things together with people from a wide variety of areas - at the turbulent pulse of teacher training.

A special moment for me at university was...

...when I found myself in a surprising way in the anniversary film of the time travel through 50 years of the University of Oldenburg: with a flour dust explosion, which I showed as a postdoc in a chemistry show lecture.

I would like to swap a week with...

...the student teachers in the "Learning Journey" project of the "Chalk Dust Initiative", which is co-organised by our Oldenburg student body for teaching. As part of the learning journey, students visit innovative schools. I would love to experience these exciting insights first-hand.

I wish the UOL all the best for the next 50 years...

...implementation strength with the participation and involvement of everyone at #UOL to turn upcoming changes into joint success stories! With the name of our university, we are committed to taking on the challenges of development and change and shaping them through tangible leadership and care responsibility for all people at our university.
