Research interest

In my PhD thesis, I am investigating the neuronal background of cue integration and orientation using the unique straight line orientation behavior of the South African ball-rolling dung beetle. Combining behavioral experiments and extracellular tetrode recordings allow me to investigate the weighing and combination of celestial and wind cues behaviorally and neuronally.
