Dr. Eva Unruh
Dr. Eva Unruh is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Sustainability and Supply Chain Management at Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. Her research focuses on Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with particular interest in how individual decision-making shapes operational processes and quality management in SMEs. Drawing on practical experience in logistics and a background in business education, she also conducts research on innovative teaching and learning concepts in OSCM. She received her Ph.D. from Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg in 2024 (“Summa cum laude”). Her research was recognized with the Chan Hahn Best Paper Award at the 2025 Academy of Management Annual Meeting.
In 2025, she completed a four-month research stay as a Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business, hosted by Dr. John V. Gray. In 2026, she spent three months as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Groningen.
