We are a small team with research and teaching activities in the field of international economics, with a focus on international trade, global production networks, and multinational enterprises.

Peter Eppinger has been the Professor of International Economics at the University of Oldenburg since 2025.

Ernesto Ugolini has joined University of Oldenburg as a Postdoctoral scholar in 2026. 

In the Winter semester 2026/27 we are offering the following courses:

Research Update: The paper „Slice to Protect” (by Peter Eppinger, Bohdan Kukharskyy, Alireza Naghavi and Gianmarco Ottaviano) received the Best Paper Award at the INFER Annual Conference in 2025 and is now available as CESifo Working Paper 12694. https://doi.org/10.65864/ycldee4z6e.
