Welcome to the Chair of International Economics!

 

Peter Eppinger has been the Professor of International Economics at the University of Oldenburg since 2025. For more information, see his personal website: www.petereppinger.com

 

Our research and teaching activities lie in the field of international economics, with a focus on international trade, global production networks, and multinational enterprises.

 

In the Summer semester 2026 we are offering the following courses:

Research Update: Slice to Protect (Peter Eppinger, Bohdan Kukharskyy, Alireza Naghavi and Gianmarco Ottaviano) received the Best Paper Award at the INFER Annual Conference and is now available as INFER Working Paper 16, 2025.

 

Global Economic Networks (GEN) Workshop 2026: The fifth edition of the GEN Workshop series co-organized by Peter Eppinger will take place at Baruch College (CUNY) on May 14-15, 2026. The programs of previous editions of the GEN Workshop can be found here.
