Digital health services

Together with the Jade University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg-Wilhelmshaven-Elsfleth, the Emden-Leer University of Applied Sciences and the University of Vechta, we invite you to a digital lecture or workshop every month. The programmes focus on various health-related topics, e.g. mindfulness, nutrition or exercise. Participation is free of charge for students.

Lecture "Exercise as a source of strength - smart routines for regeneration & recovery"

11.05.2026 6.30 - 7.30 pm

We regularly encounter stress and challenges in our everyday lives. This can be fulfilling, but also exhausting in the long term and sap our energy. To stay physically and mentally healthy in the long term, we need more than just the occasional time-out. We need conscious routines that really recharge our batteries - on a daily basis.

Exercise is your most powerful tool here and means much more than sport. A short walk between lectures, a stretching session after studying, a breathing exercise in stressful moments: exactly when you need it most.

In this workshop, you will learn how targeted movement impulses and realistic everyday routines work together and you will receive practical impulses that you can try out and take with you straight away. The result: more energy, more focus and a sustainable balance between performance and recovery.

Prior registration is not necessary. You can register directly for the event log in.

Workshop "Study calmly instead of working burnt out"

11.06.2026 6.30 - 7.30 pm

Do you sometimes feel torn between lectures, a part-time job, exam pressure and your private life? Welcome to the reality of many students - and welcome to an event that can change that.

In our interactive, psychologically guided online session, you will find out

  • Why your stress level is often higher than you think
What constant stress (cortisol!) really does to your body and your motivation
  • How to make the right adjustments with the stress traffic light
Why "doing more" does not automatically mean "achieving more" (keyword: optimum performance)
  • How to outsmart procrastination with the Pomodoro technique and the 10-minute trick
  • How you can immediately reduce your stress levels with simple breathing exercises (e.g. 4-6-8)

What's special:

This is not a frontal lecture. You will reflect on your own stress level, recognise personal stress intensifiers and receive directly implementable tools for your everyday life. Psychologically sound. Scientifically based. Practical. And above all: suitable for everyday use in your studies. Don't work harder - work smarter. Treat yourself to an hour that can change your whole semester.

No prior registration is necessary. You can register directly for the event log in directly.

Workshop "SleepFit: Sleep well again at last"

11.07.2026 6.30 - 7.30 pm

You're lying in bed, your head is still spinning and sleep is a long time coming?
Then Sleepfit is exactly what you need. In this psychologically supervised session, you won't get any run-of-the-mill tips, but scientifically proven strategies that really work - even in your often stressful everyday life as a student.

What you can expect:

  • Why you sleep badly - and what your brain has to do with it
  • The biggest sleep killers during your studies (spoiler: mobile phones & stress)
  • Specific techniques to help you fall asleep faster and sleep through the night better
  • Simple routines that you can incorporate directly into your everyday life
  • Mini exercises from the field of psychology to help you calm your mind

You will learn how to actively control your sleep - instead of just tossing and turning at night.

For you if you:

  • often have trouble falling asleep or wake up at night
  • are tired in the morning even though you have slept "enough"
  • finally want to get your sleep under control

Put an end to endless nights and start your day fit again. Sleepfit gets you back into your rhythm.

No prior registration is necessary. You can register directly for the event log in directly.

Workshop ""Tomorrow I start...?!" - Do you know this sentence?"

11.08.2026 6.30 - 7.30 pm

You have deadlines, to-dos and actually a plan - and yet you keep putting it off? You're not alone. Procrastination is part of everyday life for many students - but it doesn't have to stay that way.

In this interactive 60-minute event, experienced psychologists will show you what really lies behind procrastination: Why we avoid things even though they are important to us, and how thoughts, stress and perfectionism interact in the process. You will not only gain exciting insights, but above all concrete, everyday strategies that will help you to take direct action. Together, we will work out ways in which you can reorganise your thoughts, reduce pressure and learn more productively - but above all more calmly.

  • For all those who no longer want to "start tomorrow" but want to make a difference today.
  • Practical, understandable and immediately realisable.
  • With room for dialogue and personal experience.

Put an end to procrastination - and start with clarity, structure and new motivation.

Under professional guidance, all participants prepare a menu together in their own kitchen at the same time and experience culinary cohesion at a distance.

You will receive a clear shopping list in good time to help you prepare. The ingredients are deliberately kept simple, are available in any well-stocked supermarket and are student-friendly in terms of budget.
