Arriving by car

Take the A28 highway to the Haarentor exit, from there drive out of town until a car dealership (Mercedes Senger) appears on the right and turn right (Carl-von-Ossietzky Straße). Follow the road and keep left at the fork in the road. The Institute of Mathematics is a part of the larger building. At the main entrance, turn left up the stairs and then left through the glass door. There is a signpost to the individual rooms on the stairwell there. Further information can be found on the university access page .

Arrival by train and public transport

Two bus lines run to the university from the bus stop behind the train station. These are line 306 (towards the university) to the mathematics/natural sciences location (final stop), but only until around 7 p.m. and line 310 (towards Wehnen). This stops at Grotepool (Mercedes Rosier), from there it's about a 5-minute walk. At the pedestrian traffic lights, take the ascending footpath on the right, at the end of which turn left. The path then leads directly to the Wechloy university building, where the mathematics department locates. At the main entrance, turn left up the stairs and then left through the glass door. Further information can be found on the university access page.

Arrival by shared bike

The cycle paths in Oldenburg are flat, short and well developed. For shared bikes and ebikes, we refer, for example, to Oli and Bolt.
