The Institute of Chemistry regularly offers interested students the opportunity to incorporate a period of study abroad into their degree programme. In turn, Oldenburg is also a destination for students from all over the world.

Prof. Dr Jürgen Martens, as the representative for international relations, is responsible for coordination. Funding options range from BAFöG to scholarships. Interested students can obtain further information from Jürgen Martens in person or byemailing Stay abroad.

Further information on the possibility of a period abroad is also available from the International Student Office (ISO).

Application forms for participation in the Erasmus exchange programme and an Erasmus acceptance form can be found at:

Those interested should please complete and sign these forms. They should then be submitted to the Chemistry Department’s representative for international contacts (Jürgen Martens). The forms should then be handed in at the ISO to Ms Christa Weers (A05 1-115 / Tel. 2438). It is advisable to complete these formalities approximately twelve months before the start of your stay abroad.
