The "Oldenburg Research Network for Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine" is one of the focal points of the Scientific Centre "Care Systems and Patient-Oriented Research" at the School V - School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Oldenburg.
The special feature of the Oldenburg research network is that it covers the entire care chain from outpatient emergency care, preclinical and in-hospital emergency medicine, intensive care medicine, intensive care rehabilitation to outpatient intensive care for patients on mechanical ventilation at home, as well as the research chain from basic research/preclinical research to clinical, clinical-epidemiological and epidemiological research to health services research.
The aim is to optimise the care of sick patients through jointly initiated projects.
At the same time, scientific exchange is to be promoted through the networking of those involved in healthcare in order to develop and carry out new research projects.
