Oldenburg Research Network for Interdisciplinary Emergency Care
Oldenburg Research Network for Interdisciplinary Emergency Care
The ‘Oldenburg Interdisciplinary Emergency Care Research Network’ is one of the key areas of focus within the ‘Healthcare Systems and Patient-Centred Research’ Centre at School V - School of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Oldenburg.
What sets the Oldenburg Research Network apart is that it covers the entire care continuum – from outpatient emergency care, through pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency medicine, intensive care, intensive rehabilitation right through to outpatient intensive care for patients on home ventilation, as well as the research chain from basic and pre-clinical research through clinical, clinical-epidemiological and epidemiological research to healthcare research.
The aim is to optimise the care of patients through jointly initiated projects.
At the same time, by bringing together the stakeholders involved in patient care, the network aims to promote scientific exchange in order to develop and carry out new research projects.
