Final conference of the research project 'ReNEW - Recursive standardisation in the energy transition'

On 27-28 June, the final conference of the research project 'ReNEW - Recursive Norm Formation in the Energy Transition' took place at the TU Berlin in co-operation with the Organisational Sociology Section of the DGS. The topics of the conference were just as diverse as the scientific disciplines (including communication science, Law and (organisational) sociology), as political processes, social media, laws and specific actors in the energy transition were discussed. Taken together, however, the contributions impressively demonstrate the connection between different topics as well as common challenges and interactions. Sabrina Paustian and Jannika Mattes presented the essay 'Ready, Set, ... Rollout? On the importance of heterogeneous actors in delaying the smart meter rollout in Germany', which was written in collaboration with Oldenburg Energy Informatics.
