Together with around 800 other doctoral candidates from the Netherlands and Germany, Marie Oltmer, Tamara Schnell and Sabrina Paustian spent a day exploring the topic of doctoral studies. For once, the focus of this year's PhD Day on 3 February 2023 in Groningen was not on subject-specific content. Instead, topics such as presentation techniques, mental health, interdisciplinarity and further career paths after the doctorate were discussed in detail in various workshops and lectures.
