Study plans
Here you will find the study plans for all degree programmes in the subjects of Philosophy and Values and Norms. Please note that study plans are intended as a guide for planning your studies and do not represent a ‘set in stone’ course of study. Depending on your second subject and your individual study conditions, it is possible to deviate from the suggested sequence (in the subjects of Philosophy and Values and Norms). However, you should definitely bear the following in mind when planning your studies:
The module phi130 – Logic should be taken in the first semester. If this is not possible due to a clash with compulsory modules in your second subject, the module should be taken by the third semester at the latest. It is strongly advised against postponing this module until the end of the degree programme (i.e. the fifth semester). As the module is only offered in the winter semester, if you fail the examination (written exam) on the first or second sitting, you will only be able to retake it in the seventh semester, which will automatically extend your Bachelor’s programme by one semester.
This advice primarily applies to students on the dual-subject Bachelor’s programme who are studying Philosophy/Values and Norms and their second subject in a 60/60 ratio. Students on all other degree programmes (Bachelor’s 90/30 as well as the Master of Education in Special Education and Primary Education) should aim to take the module phi130 as early as possible during their studies.
