Peter Rott is on the board of the International Association of Consumer Law. The association sees itself as a communication platform for consumer law scholars from all over the world and its main activity is organising a major conference every two years. The last conference took place in Hamburg in July 2023, the next one is planned for 23-25 July 2025 in Buenos Aires. Regional events are held between the major conferences, most recently in Europe in September 2024 in Cambridge and in February 2025 in Montpellier.
