The authors show that the misuse of the new telecommunications media goes beyond the keywords "incitement of the people" and "child pornography", which are repeatedly mentioned in this context: the categories of economic offences, offences against the democratic constitutional state, offences against personality in the broad sense and offences against young people in the broad sense are dealt with in detail. The first chapter deals with the applicability of German criminal law to computer and Internet offences.
