Today, the World Wide Web is a commercial information and transaction medium that is also used to initiate and conclude contracts. An important future is predicted for e-commerce. However, the provision of information and the conclusion of contracts raise a large number of civil law questions which need to be answered taking into account the special features of the Internet. The CD-ROM "Internet Law" deals with these questions. The authors explain
in a generally understandable and competent manner business models of e-commerce, conditions for the validity of electronic contracts including digital signatures, the provider obligations and consumer rights to be observed in Internet contracts and much more, including aspects of tax and international law. The latest case law has been taken into account. The CD-ROM offers a compact and comprehensible introduction to the complex subject matter of Internet and eCommerce law. It is therefore not only suitable for students, but also for practitioners. In addition to the content that corresponds to the book edition, the CD-ROM contains hypermedia-linked electronic texts with the cited laws and judgements in full text
