UMO Research Highlights
On behalf of the Vice Dean for Research, we cordially invite all researchers in the field of natural sciences and human medicine to participate in the UMO Reasearch Highlights (previously EMS Research Colloquium).
The UMO Research Highlights are intended to promote exchange between the various Departments of the School V - School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Oldenburg, the four Oldenburg hospitals and the University Medical Centre Groningen as an international cooperation partner.
It is intended to offer scientists the opportunity to present the results of their research work to external interested parties and to discuss them in a broad forum with natural scientists, clinical and basic research scientists and doctors. The framework of the UMO Research Highlights enables new collaborations to be formed and joint research projects to be tackled.
UMO Connect
The format "UMO Connect - Networking for doctoral candidates and postdocs at University Medicine Oldenburg" enables participants to exchange ideas with other scientists in early career phases at UMO across disciplines about their experiences in their doctorate and as postdocs and to make new contacts. Each meeting begins with a 30-minute expert talk on a topic relevant to the doctoral/postdoc phase, followed by discussions over a cup of coffee or tea. Four to six dates are planned per year.
For better planning, please register in advance by email to . It is of course also possible to take part at short notice.
