Oldenburg University's Department of Slavonic Languages is delighted to host an international linguistic conference on "Descriptive and theoretical problems of secondary predicates, with emphasis on Middle and Eastern European languages". Chief organisers of the conference are Prof. Dr. Christoph Schroeder (Istanbul) and Prof. Dr. Gerd Hentschel (Oldenburg). We are glad to have aroused the interest of a considerable number of linguists working on different languages, who will come to Oldenburg and discuss their specific views on this complex matter.
