Standardised recognitions

Change of study location, double degree programme, change of subject and stay abroad

If you

  • have already studied at another university,
  • intend to transfer to the University of Oldenburg,
  • intend to switch between degree programmes/change subjects,
  • are studying two degree programmes (so-called double degree, e.g. M. A./M. Sc. and M. Ed.) or
  • are studying at the University of Oldenburg and are planning a semester abroad at one of our partner universities

you can use the overviews provided here to find out whether credits earned for Oldenburg modules can be recognised.

The overviews are constantly being expanded and focus, among other things, on the universities and colleges in Lower Saxony and Bremen, internal recognition (double or second degree, change of examination regulations, change of subject), as well as the foreign partner universities.

Note: There is no legal entitlement to recognition of achievements based on the naming of a module in the overview. A proposal and an individual decision are always required for the recognition of examination achievements. However, recourse to existing decisions speeds up the recognition process considerably.

The overviews are sorted by degree programme.

Degree programmes with at least 10 standardised recognition decisions have their own overview.

All other degree programmes with standardised recognition decisions can be found under Other degree programmes, sorted by School and then alphabetically by degree programme.
