Taster day for individuals
Taster day for individuals

What is it actually like to study at the University of Oldenburg? How does a lecture or seminar work? What does the campus look like? What tips do students have for starting a degree programme?
Prospective students can get answers to these and other questions at the taster day.
The taster days are offered during the lecture periods (summer semester: April to July; winter semester: October to January).
Overall, I really enjoyed the day. I found the programme in particular to be extremely varied. I thought it was very good that a lot of consideration was given to individual interests, both in the lecture and in the free choice of courses. I also found the opportunity to make direct contact with students in the Q&A session very helpful.

I liked the mixture of authentic/genuine events to get a taste of the programme and specific events for us prospective students. I was also happy to have the chance to look at course formats other than a lecture.
