INSTEP Study Preparation Programme
The INSTEP Study Preparation programme, which forms part of the International Study Entry Phase (INSTEP), is designed to prepare international prospective students for a German-language degree programme at the University of Oldenburg.
The programme is aimed at international applicants who do not have sufficient language skills to commence a degree programme, as well as prospective students who are refugees and wish to study at the University of Oldenburg.
The preparatory programme comprises
- German language courses designed to prepare students for university, with the aim of passing the German Language Test for University Admission (DSH)
- courses on academic work, writing and learning
- intercultural training and social activities
- Support in the form of tutorial guidance
- a wide range of advisory services
- Where applicable, subject-specific preparatory course content
Participating organisations
The Study Preparation Programme are run by the following institutions:
Language Centre
Study and Career Counselling Service (ZSKB)
International Office
Faculties I–VI, where applicable
Furthermore, participants in the preparatory programme have access to all the advisory services offered by the University of Oldenburg.
