As part of the project, a conference was held from 28-30 October 2010 at the Hanse Wissenschaftskolleg in Delmenhorst entitled "Productions of Evidence. Biological metaphors and gender construction between art and science in modern times and modernity", which brought art and cultural scientists into a critical dialogue with natural scientists. PD Dr Anja Zimmermann is currently a Heisenberg Fellow at the Institute of Cultural Studies: Art-Textile-Media at the University of Oldenburg.
